Nabli legal

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Nabli handles information for its private neighborhood communities.

Effective June 21, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit Nabli, create an account, join a participating community, or use Nabli's neighborhood features. Nabli is a private community service, so most member information is available only to approved residents and administrators.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: your name, email address, password credentials managed by our authentication provider, account status, and sign-in activity.
  • Profile and household information: your phone number, address or household assignment, biography, profile photo, contact-visibility choices, and information you choose to add about household members or pets.
  • Community content: announcements, discussions, replies, event details, RSVPs, marketplace or help-request posts, messages, photos, and other content you submit.
  • Notification preferences: the email categories you choose to receive and related delivery information.
  • Technical and usage information: browser and device details, IP address, cookies, page visits, performance data, and diagnostic information generated when you use the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create, authenticate, approve, and maintain member accounts;
  • connect approved neighbors and provide Nabli's community features;
  • display contact details according to each member's privacy choices;
  • send account, security, access-request, and selected community emails;
  • protect the service, investigate misuse, and enforce community rules;
  • measure reliability and improve performance and usability; and
  • comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

4. How information is shared

Profile and community content may be shared with approved members of your Nabli community. Your email address and phone number are shown to other residents only when you enable the applicable visibility setting, although community administrators may access this information to operate and protect the service.

We use service providers to run Nabli, including Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage; Resend for email delivery; Vercel for hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring; and Google Maps for map features. These providers process information on our behalf under their own service terms and privacy commitments.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, during a business or service transition, or with your direction. We do not sell personal information.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Nabli and its service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain security, remember service state, understand page usage, and measure performance. Blocking essential cookies may prevent authentication or other features from working.

6. Your choices

  • Update your profile, contact-visibility settings, and email-notification preferences from your Nabli profile.
  • Edit or remove content where the service provides those controls, or ask a community administrator for help.
  • Ask a community administrator to correct information, deactivate your account, or assist with a privacy request.

Some information may be retained when needed for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backups, or the integrity of community conversations.

7. Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls intended to limit private community data to approved members. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password, protect access to your email account, and report suspected unauthorized access to a community administrator.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Nabli, maintain community records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.

8. Children and household information

Nabli accounts are intended for adults who can agree to these terms. Adults may choose to add limited information about members of their household. Do not post sensitive information about a child or another person unless you have authority to do so and are comfortable sharing it with approved community members.

9. Changes and questions

We may update this policy as Nabli changes. The effective date above will be revised when an update becomes effective. For questions or privacy requests, contact the Nabli administrator who approved or invited you. If you cannot access your account, reply to a Nabli administrative email you have received.
